I like to ramble alot about little things because they’re so interesting. Sometimes, it’s those very small details that you notice first, and only after you actually see the big picture. Well, doesn’t matter. I’m not even gonna talk about small details in big pictures today. I’ll leave it for some other day, there’s always time.

A new year is coming soon, and I wanna enter it in the best mood possible. I think it’s important, you know. I think it’s very important, not because I believe that the new year’s eve will reflect through the rest of the year, but because I wanna be Mr Party Beast #1. (Okay, that’s a little exaggarated there. Pfft… “Mr Party Beast #1″ — I was always amazed at how silly I could get before I even notice I am…)

You know, one of my favorite albums is Dexter Wansel’s “Life on Mars.” (1973) It’s a definately great album which fell into obscurity, though it really shouldn’t have, as it’s beautiful. In fact, it contains one of my favorite songs – “One Million Miles From the Ground.” You probably won’t know why it’s my favorite until you hear it, but nonetheless, today’s ‘album of the day’ choice is simple:

Tracklist:

Side A

  1. A Prophet Named K.G.;
  2. Life on Mars;
  3. Together Once Again;
  4. Stargazer.

Side B

  1. One Million Miles From The Ground;
  2. You Can Be What you Wanna Be;
  3. Theme From the Planets;
  4. Rings of Saturn.

The runtime of the album is some 35/36/37 minutes. Never bothered to add it all up precisely.

Also, a new year is coming in some one or two days. The reason why I’m counting days is because I’m finally gonna move from this shithole of a flat I’ve been living in since birth. It’s clean, it’s comfy, and it’s so f-cking tiny, you just can’t imagine it. Actually, you can: Imagine having a lot of bookshrlves in your bedroom, with books falling out every minute – and as soon as you put one book back, another one falls to the floor. Then you got about a quarter-kilometer of cables all around your working desk, which is also chock-full with little gadgets you can’t afford trashing just to get some space. I think it’s that simple to explain. One way or another, I’m moving in 2008, and darn it if it isn’t going to be the best year in my whole life just because of that. I’ve always envied people with more space in their homes that they can fill up. Too bad they don’t really have any respect for a single square inch of what they have, unlike me. I, on the other hand, am a little angel (not).
